Beach Pond

Delycia went for a long hike with Evelyn today, and loved it. When she returned, she seemed filled with excitement about being with a dear friend for a good walk and a long talk. They hiked in the Beach Pond area of Rhode Island, and hearing her talk about it made me want to go back there with her and see some of that beautiful woodland scenery. It's a small and somewhat secret paradise. 

Meanwhile, I stayed home and did a few hours of good writing. I sat at the table in the sunroom with my laptop and just kept typing and typing, from around 9:00 until noon.  I also sent a new query about my novel to an agent.  

Around 6:00, I had a call from Mikey and we had a long, heartwarming chat. He's a wonderful kid brother whom I dearly love.
