Last Friday, I traveled up to Rectory School for the annual Family Weekend classroom visits, and had a wonderful time. It was something special to see Noah and Ava performing so smoothly and apparently comfortably in their classrooms. Unfortunately, our beloved Cia was not able to join us because of a week-long illness, but we had her with us in our hearts. Here are some photos from the special day:

Her sickness has slowly lessened, but she is still, today, feeling a little listless and tired, so the full recovery may still be a few days away. We did take a wonderful 8 mile bike ride yesterday, out Lantern Hill Road and back, past springtime fields and flowers and trees, and today she took a strong (though casual, for her) walk at Barn Island. 

I felt good out in the yard, getting some open spots ready for grass seed. . . .

After such hard work . . .

. . . a guy needs a break.
