Today we attended a wonderful performance of "Into the Woods" at Noah's school, with Noah playing the very central role of a harmless, lovable cow called Milky White. It was magical to see him in his charming white costume with what looked like a smiling cow's head. He patiently crawled around the stage, and at one point, stood up and then keeled over backwards in a death swoon. Beautiful acting by our boy!

After the show, we hiked for about 90 minutes at Old Furnace State Park, a tiring hike (for me) but a great one, up some stony trails and then around an old pond and up and down again to the car.
