A quiet day at home, except for a trip to the Y for a workout. Cia did some swimming in the heated pool, and I did a brisk walk on the treadmill. I hope to get back to swimming sometime soon, so I can again enjoy the soothing full body workout I get in the pool. And . . . I almost forgot to mention that we drove down to Old Saybrook this morning to renew my driver's license. I was truly looking forward to "ace-ing" the eye exam, now that my vision has been restored by the cataract surgery, but sadly, they don't even require a vision test for renewal! I was bummed . . . but I didn't complain. I politely accepted my new license with gratitude. (I loved having Cia with me on the 30 minute drive, just for good companionship.)
