Today was a busy day in the kitchen for my dear Cia, a very serious chef and hostess. We are having nine guests for lunch tomorrow (Luke and Jamie and their families), and the last few days have been very busy for my honey.  It should be a very special lunch tomorrow, followed by a visit to the fabulous Mystic Aquarium. I think we'll all enjoy it very much. 

Today I listened to Beethoven's Piano Trio #5, and it was a delightful experience to follow the sounds of the cello, violin, and piano as they blended together in perfect harmony. I also enjoyed reading, in the Monitor, about a nonprofit organization in India that has been helping physically handicapped people develop their skills for employment, and also about a rising feminist movement in South Korea. Very inspiring stories!
