Yesterday, a drizzly cool one, Cia and I did some "office" work in the morning, then went out together on some errands -- Staples for folders of various kinds, and then True Value for propane for the grill and some odds and ends for Cia. More quiet work in the early afternoon, and then a movie at 5:00 -- a disappointing film about Emily Dickinson, far too sensational and excessive. The film emphasized the sorrow and sickness in her world, with very little mention of the light-heartedness that's so often expressed in her poems. 

Later, a fine dinner of sausages and veggies, followed by our usual peaceful evening of news-watching and reading and slowly slipping into bed and sleep.
