This morning we sat outside for breakfast, on the patio under the umbrella, and it was delightful. A fresh breeze was blowing, and the umbrella on the patio was swaying and tipping as we sat beneath it. We could hear the traffic on the nearby interstate, but it was, as usual, more like a harmonious musical piece then something that disturbed us. Eating breakfast and looking around at the lovely flowers was a wonderful way to begin this day of 16 June.

After breakfast, we sat back underneath the trees, me on the ground and Delycia next to me on a chair, and we did our usual morning meditation, about 30 minutes of peaceful and inspiring silence.

Below, some of Cia's lovely flowers . . . .

My lovely Cia, at the Florence Griswold Museum for lunch on the patio,
with the Lieutenant River in the background.

Later this morning, we walked at Barn Island and had a delightful time. The estuary and the bay and the distant silvery ocean were inspiring.

On the island . . . .
