This morning we did an early bike ride on one of our favorite routes, some scenic country roads north of Mystic, winding along farmland and forests and hills for about 7 miles. It was a sunny and fresh morning with a light and cool wind, perfect for a perfect ride.

Later, we drove up to Jamie's for a delicious dinner of his homemade fish chowder, a real treat. The kids were there, being their kind and happy and helpful selves, and it warmed my heart to see those three being such a warm and loving family.
