QUEEN CIA

The greening shoots are rising up these days

in Cia's garden, and she is out among

them under sun or clouds. She's in a daze,

in love with spring and warmth and young

triumphant sprouts of flowers. They are small

but strong, these youthful spears of lively green,

and she's inspired by their rise. The call

of spring has come, and she is now the queen

of gardens once again. She works and rules

with love. The shoots encircle her like jewels.
