Last evening, we went to Jim and Ann's for their annual holiday open-house, and it was a happy, crowded, loud celebration for one and all. We both enjoyed visiting with a few old friends, and drove home with some of the holiday spirit of the party.

This afternoon, as usual, we started a fire around 4:00, and thoroughly enjoyed sitting before the flames and reading and enjoying a cold winter evening in our warm and cozy home.
