Today we sat together on the couch for about 30 minutes and went over our financial picture, mostly so that I can stay clear about how our money is organized and used. Cia does a wonderful job keeping our budget orderly and tight, seeing that bills are paid, and generally keeping track of things, but I need, every few months, to sit down with her and go over everything again, so that it all stays clear for me. Not a real exciting 30 minutes, but very important to me. 

Before lunch, we packed a picnic for ourselves and drove over to seaside Noank, where we took a brisk 30 minute walk up and down their rigorous (for me) hills, and then sat by the water and had lunch while watching boats smoothly pass by under a shining, sunny sky.
