     Another beautifully breezy and easygoing summer day – clear and in the high 70’s with ballooning clouds above the house all day. We rode for about 7 miles in the morning, down smoothly-paved Lantern Hill Road to Wolf Neck Road and then to Shewville Road past Dan and Maria’s and then up the short hill in Old Mystic and home. (Delycia, as always, led the way up the short hill at the end, pumping with proud muscles all the way.)

     Annie and Louie came again for a final visit in the afternoon. We played and laughed for an hour of happiness. The little guy is gifted in countless ways, and gives us the full gift of himself each time we see him.
