Today we enjoyed a rousing performance at Tanglewood, featuring YoYo Ma as the soloist in Richard Strauss's Don Quixote. It was a perfect afternoon -- cool and breezy on the lawn as we ate our seafood sandwiches (and I sipped some refreshing white wine), and cool again inside the shed for the performance. 

Before the concert, early this morning, we walked up and down the hills on the road to Tanglewood. Along the way, we came upon an iron fence that wasn't strong enough to stop an old tree on the property.
