Today we enjoyed our final breakfast at the HF Guest House in Selworthy, Somerset, UK. It was a moving few minutes for us, as we knew we would miss the new friends we made here. Each night for the past week, we sat in the elegant dining room with the same folks, finding ways to share and come to know each other. We met Roger and Zoe and Barbara and Brian and Chris and Marjorie and others, and it's surprising how close we now feel to some of them. I suppose when you share breakfast and dinner (and sometimes lunch) with the same people for 7 days, a sort of informal fellowship does develop.

Cia drove us down to Heathrow Airport -- such a brave driver she has been! -- where we dropped off the rental car (or "hired car", as our British friends would say) and took a bus over to our hotel for the night. Cia just returned from a walk, and showed me these photos of a footpath not 5 minutes from a major airport. Only in the UK!

Now we are snuggled in our room, lazily letting the hours pass as we ease into the end of a wonderful holiday. Tomorrow morning, we catch an 11:00 flight back to our cozy, carefree life in Mystic.
