It's now 6:32 am in Mystic, a silent Sunday morning (except for the soft, far-off murmur of traffic on the interstate). Cia and I got up around 4:30, mostly because it was 9:30 in the UK, where we've spent the last 2 weeks. It seemed like the proper time to rise and shine, so we did, and we're now enjoying these very early hours in the new week.

We flew home from London yesterday, an uneventful and smooth trip. Of course, the 7 hours spent sitting in very cramped conditions was not
what we would call "pleasant",
but still, for such a long flight, the hours passed fairly seamlessly, and of course we loved being side by side, sharing passages from our reading, touching hands sometimes, soaring across the ocean as partners.

Now, we're back in our snug and sheltered home, as happy as two travelers can be.
