A quiet day at home for me, full of good reading and writing, while Cia was enjoying a  hike with Evelyn and Lee. I spent some time reading poems by John Greenleaf Whittier -- smooth, fluid, beautiful poems that were totally inspiring to me as I read them in our cozy living room. It made me realize that poetry is my greatest love as a reader, and that I need to go back to that wonderful source much more often.
