I had a great phone chat with brother Pete today -- just a wandering, comfortable talk on all sorts of topics. He's a guy I have admired for as long as I can remember, and it's great to feel like I'm getting to know -- and admire -- him even more as the years pass. He and BeBe will be joining us in Charleston for the wedding in a few weeks, which should be great fun!

I also had a wonderful talk with Cia today (as we so often do). We sat together in the sun room for awhile as we talked, and then moved to the couch to sit close beside each other. How lucky I am to have a partner to share such genuine, heartfelt conversation!
