Today we drove down to the Florence Griswold Museum (one of our favorite places) to see an exhibit of paintings by young student artists. We saw a few paintings that we liked, but most seemed somehow uninspiring. We did, though, see some paintings we loved in the main museum, and in Miss Florence's house. We then took a fast (for me) walk through the town of Old Lyme, enjoying the chilly weather and the changing sun and shade.
Two of the paintings I liked . . .
and two lovers at the end of their walk . . .
