Yesterday Delycia had a wonderful lunch with her good friend Lee, at La Bella in Niantic. While she was gone, I came down with some sort of strange low-grade fever, which made me a quiet, listless bumbler the rest of the day. Cia, as always, was so kind and understanding when she returned, which definitely helped speed my recovery. (The fever was gone this morning, lucky for me.)

We put up our little table-top Christmas tree the other day, and it looks as beautiful as any big one. We did have a bit of a problem with it, however. I woke up this morning to find that the tree had tumbled over, dumping water and ornaments across the floor. We set it up again, this time with a supporting string to help it stay put.
