This was a rainy, winter-like day, great for dressing warmly and sitting by the fire with hot tea and good books. I took the day off from exercising, and got a lot done at my desk -- cleaning files from my computer, polishing some manuscripts, and reading Trollope's "Can You Forgiver Her?" Cia had a medical appointment this morning, and then went to the Y for a workout. Later, as the afternoon got colder, I started a fire, and she sprawled on the love-seat with Trollope and I sat across from her with some spiritual reading, the flames warming us nicely as the day slowly darkened.
