We've had another busy week since my last entry -- dinner with Jim and Ann and Heidi and Rob Simmons at Engine Room, a popular bar and cafe in Mystic; dinner the next night at Barbara Heuer's home with two of her good friends; down to Yale Rep Theater in New Haven on Wednesday for a marvelous performance of August Wilson's "Seven Guitars", and then a wild, windy, very cold but happy walk today on Napatree Beach. Life for us contented elders is good -- busy, sometimes even hectic, but overall a very lucky life for both of us.
