Last night we saw an amazing performance of "The Messiah" at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Norwich -- not just amazing, but breathtaking and sometimes almost tear-jerking. I got choked up a few times as the chorus and soloists sang so beautifully the words that have become so meaningful to me over the years. I felt lucky to have Cia right beside me as we listened to the music. I felt like it was not just about Jesus and scripture and Christmas, but about us. 

Today we took another fast walk, four times up snd down the Peace Sanctuary road. It's become a favorite walk of ours, a fast way to get our heart rates up and work some special muscles. Plus, there's the wonderful scenery, with some huge imperious trees and the serene Mystic River with geese sailing here and there.
