This was a glorious day for us, and for America -- and it was just the beginning of a loving and brave movement against Trump's campaign for hate and divisiveness. Delycia and I were proud to take part in the Boston Women's March for America, joining something like 130,000 other people to speak our voices with clarity and power. I was totally inspired, often to tears, as I walked along with so many strong, brave, and patient people. I saw women who seemed frail and maybe in their 80's or even 90's, walking patiently along in an endless and packed crowd of people. I guess I was most impressed by that patience -- that quiet willingness to stand, or walk very slowly, for several long hours in a crowd that seemed endless. I saw families with babies and young children, all of them patiently taking part in this new-old revolution pitting compassion and respect against selfishness and hatred. It was a day I will never forget, a day that, I'm sure, was the beginning of something courageous and wonderful for our country.
