Next, we had lunch at a very special diner in Lebanon, where I had a hamburger about as old-fashioned and delicious as they get. Truly, I thought I was back in the '50's , when hamburgers were made out of thick patties cooked carefully, and one by one, on a grill by a cook who cares. We enjoyed our meal around a small table in the back of what truly did look like an old railroad dining car.
Next, we visited a science museum in nearby Norwich, VT, a place that was filled with entertaining and instructive exhibits, most of which invited visitors to get their "hands on" them and test them out. We wandered from exhibit to exhibit for an hour or so, marveling at how much there was to learn.
Finally, we saw a deeply instructive and moving movie called "Moonlight". I was shocked by the sorrow and suffering in the film, but as it progressed, I came to understand some of its deep power. I would definitely like to see it again, in the hope that it's still hidden power might reveal more of itself.
