Yesterday, Cia drove us up to Aaron's area, the small town of Claremont New Hampshire, along the Sugar River and among lovely low and rolling hills. It surely was a pleasant drive for me, sitting in the soft passenger seat pushed way back for the best leg room, and listening to spiritual readings and music on my new Bose noise-cancelling bluetooth headphones. What a great gift those headphones have been! All I heard of the noise of the engine and highway was a soft whisper, and the voice of the reader was as though he was sitting beside me.

It's good to be among the smooth hills of southern New Hampshire again, just below the majestic Whites. I look forward to soaking up the quiet stateliness of the countryside.

Lunch and a movie and good conversation with Aaron today. Looking forward to it!
