My goodness, I have missed many days in this journal! Oh well . . . these missed days were exciting, with three wonderful, sad, but also happy and uplifting days in St. Louis for Mike Richter's funeral, then a quiet day off at home yesterday, and today a long drive to pick up Annie and Louie in Framingham and deliver them safely to Jamie's home. She and Louie are here mainly for a visit with a naturopathic physician in Brattleboro, VT. Louie has been sick way too often, and has not gained much weight, so Annie and Gabe felt that a naturopath doctor may have some answers for them. We had a fine day with them -- talking and laughing in the car (while Louis Walker slept in the car-seat), and then some good cheer at Jamie's, including a fulfilling meal prepared by Cia. We look forward to spending the day with them and the rest of the family on Saturday.
