Yesterday we took a morning walk at the Peace Sanctuary, up and down the hills four times in the breezy shade of the big overhanging trees. I felt very bouncy for some reason, surprising considering that I had not used my pro-air puffer.  It may be a sign that I can slowly free myself from using it in the coming weeks and months.

Later, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Tom and Lee's home by the shore in Niantic. Ken was there with us, as well as Tom and Lee's younger son, Josh, and it was a true mid-summer feast. Tom and Lee were obviously perfectly prepared to be excellent hosts, serving us with precision and dignity.  After lunch, we took a short walk down to the shore and enjoyed the sights of the calm, shallow water reaching far out in the bay.

A quiet ride this morning, starting just outside Noank and down the shoreline road and through the seaside neighborhoods of Groton Long Point.
