A busy but happy day today -- 

early exercise (8:00 am) at the Y, 

followed by an inspiring spiritual discussion

at the Quaker Meeting House, followed by 

a long but enjoyable drive up to Easthampton MA

to join the family for a celebration 

of Annie's birthday.  

We gathered at an orchard and farm stand, 

where they had delicious apples

but also a display of dozens 

of fascinating sculptures 
set among the trees and fields. 

We wandered among the sculptures,

talking and laughing 

and enjoying family time, 

and sat in the shade for awhile to cool off. 

How lucky we are to have 

such a wonderful family.
