Another fine day in London!

We started, as we almost always do back home, with some quiet time -- sitting at the windows of our room reading and writing and sharing.

Then we walked up to the Friends House, where I bought a copy of Quaker Faith and Practice (a book I got turned onto by Cia) and did a little quiet reading, and then we sat down for a hearty lunch in the restaurant downstairs.

Next, we hopped on a bus and headed out to Hampstead Heath, where the poet John Keats lived and wrote for a short time toward the end of his brief life.  It was a memorable visit. The house and grounds are lovely, and we quietly and slowly moved through the rooms, reading the posted information and listening to recordings of some of his poems. I felt so lucky to be in the home of one of my favorite poets with my all-time favorite girl.
