Today
is a nippy day, with very slight winds and beautiful colors in the leaves, many
of which are still grasping their branches. We had planned to go to the Apple
Store today to have some conferences about our Macs, but instead we decided to
stay home and enjoy a day of rest and repose. A while ago, we sat together and
read some pages from a wonderful novel by James Stephens, called “A Crock of Gold”.
It was a wonderful reading session, during which the book became more and more
interesting as the pages passed by, something that often happens to all
readers, I’m sure. Now, at 2:30, Delycia is outside putting some of the garden
to sleep for the winter months, and I am sitting comfortably on the couch in
front of our wide window, enjoying some classical music and letting the minutes
pass by slowly and gently.
