Today we are relaxing alongside lovely Laurel Lake in the Berkshire Hills just outside of Lenox, MA. Delycia carefully arranged this two-week holiday for us, and thus far, on our third day, it seems like an absolute dream holiday. We're staying in a cozy cottage with wondrous views of the lake from the screened porch and from the private beach 30 steps from the house. We brought our kayaks, and this morning took an early quiet excursion on the lake.

Below are some photos of our cottage and the views . . .

Yesterday we drove a few miles from our cottage to Tanglewood, where we heard a majestic performance by the Boston Symphony Orchestra of Mozart's final three symphonies. We picnicked on the lawn before the concert, and then enjoyed excellent seats for the symphonies.

Here we are at Tanglewood,
with the Berkshire Hills  hidden in mist behind us

We have spent the last two evenings sitting in the hammock chair on the porch for more than an hour, watching night slowly come across the lake.  This might become an evening ceremony for us for the next two weeks.
