Yesterday we drove over to the Stonington Borough beach around 6:00, just to see the summer evening sky across the water and the distant beaches of Watch Hill. We set our chairs up in front of the car and enjoyed the peace of an hour by the sea.

Today, as usual, we had a morning workout at the Y, Cia and I swimming here and there together.  What a peaceful and perfect way to start a day!

My foot has been growing gradually better, thanks to thrice-daily icing and the constant encouragement of Cia. I can't WAIT to get out on the roads for good walks and rides with my honey!

Lovely cooling weather again today -- breezes and light blue sky all over. 

Tonight we attended a wonderful celebration for Lee and Tom, honoring their 50 years of marriage. We felt honored to be there!
