Today we drove up to Glastonbury to meet with an agent for out insurance company, and it was a very fruitful meeting, in every way. The agent was a personable and knowledgeable woman named Carol, and she took us through a thorough explanation of every aspect of our homeowner's policy, I think we both felt lucky to have ha'd the help of such a professional person.

In the afternoon, I spent a few minutes raking and piling up leaves, and it was quite a treat for me. I especially loved pausing every so often and watching the leaves drift down from the big oak beside the garage. It was a mild, gentle autumn afternoon, a fine day for some playful work in the yard.
