Today I'm feeling especially grateful  for two gifts that have come my way. First, many months ago, Cia convinced me to buy a pair of low-cut boots for general outdoor use, and I realized, today, that they might be the best boots I've ever purchased. One of the particularly helpful things about them is that I can slip them on and off with ease! I love those boots -- and I love Cia for encouraging me to get them. Also, today, for some reason, the gift of a great idea came to me. It finally occurred to me (duh) that I should move a huge log, perfect for splitting wood, from the backyard to near the woodpile, and so I moved it, and now I can split logs! (Duh. Memo to Hammy: Why didn't you do this at the start of winter instead of near the end???)
